Terms & Conditions

 

1. This is a contract between Leon Marshall & the client for musical performance

 

2. The client agrees to provide the following:

a. An area for the performance which is at least two square meters

b. An area for the performance which is clean & dry

c. A plug socket adjacent to the performance area

 

3. For outdoor performances it is the responsibility pf the client to ensure that the power supply includes an earth leakage circuit breaker for safety, & that there is sufficient cover for the performance in the event of bad weather

 

4. Deposit payment must be made within 7 days receipt of the first invoice

 

5. Final payment must be made 7 days prior to the performance or earlier

 

6. Deposits are none refundable if the booking is cancelled by the client for any reason

 

7. Cancellations may attract a cancellation fee as follows:

a. For more than 30 days notice; deposit only

b. For 14 to 30 days notice; 50% of the agreed fee

c. For less than 14 days notice; 100% of the agreed fee

 

8. If the event is forced to cancel due to force majeure, the date may be changed at no additional charge, and annual rate increases do not apply. In the event that Leon Marshall is unavailable on the client’s new chosen date, the deposit will be reimbursed in full.

 

9. Leon Marshall does not accept liability for injury, consequential loss, liquidated damages, or negligence

 

10. The client will be held responsible and liable for any damage to equipment belonging to Leon Marshall caused by negligence of their guests

 

11. Leon Marshall reserves the right to cease performance at any time during the performance, in the event of negligence of persons present where the equipment of Leon Marshall is at risk of damage or causing harm to guests. If the above should occur, the total fee is still payable in full.

 

12. Leon Marshall reserves the right to cease performance at any time during the performance in the event of harassment, which includes but is not limited to verbal abuse, physical abuse, and inappropriate physical contact. If the above should occur, the total fee is still payable in full.

 

13. In the unlikely event that Leon Marshall is unable to perform due to illness any payments made will be refunded in full.
